Contents > AT&T v18.104.22.168 information upgrade for 2700HG-B
(New 30 Mar 10)
This is for information only. There is no firmware upgrade file available
Dale sent me this screenshots from his 2700HG-B (Hardware version: 2700-100534-005). The exterior of the hub was not branded to any particular ISP with just a '2wire' badge on the front bezel. It was originally purchased from Digidave off eBay some time ago. He recalled the Home page was previously branded 'SBC' (Editor's note: Quite probably v4.25.x). Dale was using the hub on TalkTalk ISP.
About 3 months ago, Dale pressed the link on the main Home page to check for latest software and to his surprise, he was offered an upgrade to v22.214.171.124.
After upgrading, he observed all previous settings were maintained. The ability to edit the wireless power settings was also still available.
The obvious changes included the SBC logo being replaced by AT&T logo, and new features such as WPA2 wireless security and wireless MAC filtering.
A quick google search suggests AT&T may have started to push this version of firmware out from latter half of 2009 onwards.
I don't possess a BT single SSID hub so I cannot comment on whether or not this may be available to such hubs loaded with SBC v4.25.19 recovery firmware (Highly unlikely imho).
